You found this page because you're comparing European AI agent platforms. Dust is Paris-based, SOC 2 Type II certified, and lets your team build and share agents across 70+ connectors and 20+ models. On paper, the overlap looks significant. In practice, you're choosing between two fundamentally different models of how AI gets work done.
What does Dust actually give you?
Dust is a workspace for what it calls "multiplayer AI" — people and agents in the same workflow, with your team guiding the work and agents handling repeatable tasks. Your people ask questions, search internal knowledge bases, draft documents, update CRM records. Someone in your organisation builds and maintains the agents; each seat gets access to them.
That's useful for knowledge work. But it scales with headcount, and so does the bill: Dust is priced per seat with a monthly credit allowance per seat, from the Pro tier up to Max, with Enterprise on request. Ten people using Dust means ten seats, ten credit balances, and ten people acting on answers. The AI helps them work faster. It doesn't take the work off the table.
What does operational capacity actually look like?
fluado deploys agents that handle operational processes autonomously. A product specification arrives in Outlook — the agent reads it, validates it against your quality standards in SharePoint, flags exceptions, and routes the result to the right person in Teams. Nobody prompted it. Nobody configured a flow. The work just gets done.
A specification arrives at 2 AM — it gets processed. A compliance document lands on a Saturday — it gets reviewed. Someone's on holiday, someone's out sick, the office is closed for a public holiday — the agent doesn't notice. The work continues.
That's not a productivity tool. You're not measuring "time saved per employee." You're measuring work that gets done regardless of who's available, on pricing that doesn't move when you hire.
Both are European. Is the data story the same?
Not quite, and the difference is worth checking before you assume it away. Dust is a French company and offers a choice of US or EU data residency — EU is an option you select, not the only place your data can land. fluado runs on its own servers in German datacentres, with no US cloud provider in between and no region to choose.
The accountability split differs too. Dust is a platform: you configure the agents, you manage the permissions, you ensure the outputs meet regulatory requirements. Under the EU AI Act, the deployer obligations sit with your organisation.
fluado is a managed service. We deploy the agents. We build the audit trails. We maintain the compliance documentation the EU AI Act requires for autonomous AI decisions. When a regulator asks who is accountable for what the agent did, the answer isn't "our internal builder who configured it." It's us, together with you, with a structured audit log to prove it.
Who we are
fluado is a German company. When you work with us, you work with the founding team. Our phone number is on the website. We pick up.
If your challenge is operational — document reviews, compliance checks, specification management — and you want the work done rather than assisted, that's what we built fluado for.

Frequently asked questions
Can Dust agents do what fluado agents do?
Dust agents are configurable assistants your team builds and shares — they answer questions, search connected sources, and take actions inside a workflow people guide. They don't autonomously process incoming documents against your business rules across systems, or generate the compliance audit trail without human involvement. To replicate fluado's operational agents in Dust, you'd build and maintain the entire workflow yourself — and handle the EU AI Act deployer obligations on top.
Does fluado also offer a chat interface?
Yes. You can talk to fluado agents, ask questions, give instructions, and review what they've done. But the agents also work independently — processing documents, applying rules, routing results — without waiting for someone to type a prompt. Chat is how you stay in control. The autonomous work is what gives you capacity back.
Both are EU companies. What's the real difference on data?
Dust offers US or EU data residency, so where your data sits is a configuration choice. fluado runs only on its own servers in German datacentres. The second difference is accountability: Dust is a platform, so compliance responsibility for how your agents behave sits with your team. fluado is a managed service with audit logging, decision trails, and the EU AI Act documentation built in. The compliance surface is managed, not self-serve.
How does pricing compare?
Dust is seat-based: a free tier, then Pro and Max seats billed monthly or yearly, each with a monthly credit allowance, and Enterprise on request. Your cost grows with headcount and consumption. fluado uses transparent project-based pricing tied to the process we automate — no seats to count.
